Genesis
The LXX calls the book Genesis which means in greek "origin" or "birth".
The DSS and SP call the book Bereshit which means in Samaritan and Aramaic "in the beginning"
This book of origins represents the beginning of humanity with a story of loss/sin, hope/covering, and a covenant to reunite humanity with God. The art represents an intention of God to redeem humanity. The woman of promise trusts God with Seth and the line of godliness to finish what was started. I utilized Ethiopian Oriental Orthodox style since their books have the most ancient illustrations in terms of volume. Eventually the first book of the bible would end with the final book which is the Apocalypse (Revelation) of John the Apostle where Jesus the Messiah would be found sitting on the throne of the heavenly Jerusalem. And around the first century saint Matthew the Evangelist would continue the geneology from Abraham to Jesus through the step-dad (legal father). St Luke the iconographer would also trace a geneology through the Septuagint from Adam to Seth to Judah to Melchi to the natural lineage. And Sanctified John of Damascus would write down the oral tradition of the Davidic and Priestly lineage of St Mary through Pantera. Kings Solomon and prince Nathan would play a role in this geneology leading up to the Christ. See "An Exposition of the Orthodox Faith" (Book IV, chapter 14).

St. Ephrem describes Paradise as engaging all senses: "Paradise surrounds the limbs with its many delights; the eyes, with its handiwork, the hearing with its sounds, the mouth and nostrils with its tastes and scents" (6.3).
I recommend Catena Bible for seeing Commentaries by Church Fathers, examples include Saints Ephrem the Syrian, Hippolytus of Rome, and also bishops and monks like Nemesius of Emessa and Jerome of Stridon
A final comment is to read Melito's sermon dated AD 170, presented on Holy Friday, to observe the redemption of Adam from the Messiah
