Samaritan Tradition

Joshua builds his 1st altar in northern Israel. Variation occurs between northern and southern text variants: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy. Look up the quote "the habiru are now attempting to take jerusalem" as a possible reference to the Hebrews taking over the western side of land of Canaan, as stated on the Amarna Tablets within this time period.
