Abrahamic Era Gen ch12

Genesis 12 describes God's call of Abram (later Abraham) to leave his home and journey to a new land, promising to make him a great nation and bless the world through him. The chapter details Abram's obedient departure, his arrival in Canaan where he receives further promises from God and builds altars, and his subsequent journey to Egypt then travels back up to Bethel north of Hebron.
