Middle English Bible translations from the Latin Vulgate which appeared over a period from approximately 1382 to 1395. A transition from "western" text types to "Alexandrian" text types would officially happen around 1898 AD, after Westcott-Hort officially revised western Scholarly thought and framework, beginning with Novum Testamentum Graece (standard version of the Greek new testament) and 1977 with Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (Medieval Hebrew version based on Codex Leningradensis).
