Description-

Paraphrase or free-reading translation. A codex of Castilian Spanish made during the reign of King Alfoso X the Wise, written sometime between 1252-1284. No longer extant, so unknown quantity of how many scrolls were translated. The school responsible for the translation was Escuela de Traductores de Toledo (Translation School of Toledo) which most likely only used Latin Vulgate as its source, but likely used Arabic or Aramaic script as those communities also had influence with biblical content.
